ABOUT E.A.T.I.

Emergency Automotive Technologies, Inc. is the upper Midwest leader in emergency vehicle equipment sales and up-fitting.  We have been pioneering innovative solutions that focus on quality and reliability since 1986. Because of our commitment to serve our customers, we have expanded to three convenient locations throughout Minnesota. We have the largest, most diverse inventory, from all major manufacturers. We strive to be your one-stop source for all of your emergency vehicle up-fitting needs.

Our business began in 1985 as a division of Road Rescue Inc., a leader in the manufacture of emergency rescue vehicles. In 1999 Emergency Automotive Technologies was formed as a stand-alone business under separate and new ownership. Since then our company has grown substantially in customers and employees. As our business grew, we saw a need for (amber) public safety equipment and in 2003 we acquired Municilite, who was highly skilled in amber lighting solutions. In 2006 we moved to our current location in Oakdale and in 2016 we opened our second location in Duluth, MN.  In 2017 we opened our third location in Jordan, MN and in November 2019 we moved our Duluth shop into a larger facility in Hermantown, MN.

Our fully trained and experienced install team specializes in the up-fitting of a wide range of law enforcement, fire and public safety vehicles and can up-fit and customize ANY vehicle.  Our knowledgeable Sales Department, extensive inventory, and our in-house build teams and service departments can perform all equipment additions, modifications, repairs, and replacements to keep your fleet on the road. Our team of employees has a diverse background, rich in fabrication, ambulance up-fitting, after-market vehicle customization, law enforcement & fire fighters, and so much more.  This team is what makes us specialists in what we do.
